ST ETHELBURGA'S

GATE & PLAQUE

St Ethelburga's Centre for Reconciliation and Peace is a unique meeting space in the heart of the City of London devoted to promoting understanding of the relationship between faith and conflict, hosting public talks, workshops, exhibitions and cultural events bringing people from different faiths together in The Tent; http://www.stethelburgas.org/tent.htm


In 2006 Adam was commissioned to carve 28 individual rosette stones to surround a new gate designed by Keith Critchlow. The gate and Tent where unvield by HRH The Prince of Wales and representatives from all faiths.  Adam was THEN commissioned in 2007 to to produce a carved plaque representing the work by the Coexist Foundation for St Ethelburga's.
