DROP-IN WORKSHOPS

V&A Museum Drop in workshop -  8th August 2010

One day children’s workshop during the Arab World Festival at the V&A. The Art of Islamic pattern team built large timber geodesic dome in the courtyard and covered in cotton. Visitors where invited to decorate diamond shaped coloured paper exploring Islamic arts like geometry, Arabesque and contemporary themes from Arabia. Participant's then entered the dome to decorate the interior with designs that they had prepared.
